Motorcycle pre-purchase inspection
Buying a used motorcycle? With a pre-purchase inspection we check it first in our workshop in Waalwijk: brakes, tyres, chain, leaks, electrics and a test ride where possible. We tell you what the motorcycle needs, so you can negotiate better. It costs €75 per inspection.
Why a pre-purchase inspection?
With a used motorcycle you don't automatically know the state of the brakes, tyres or chain. With a pre-purchase inspection we take an independent look before you buy. That helps you negotiate, or walk away in time.
What do we check?
- Brakes: pads, discs and brake fluid.
- Tyres: tread, damage and age (DOT code).
- Chain and sprockets: wear and tension.
- Leaks: oil, coolant, fuel and the forks.
- Signs of a drop: levers, footrests, fairing parts and the handlebar.
- Starting and running: cold start, idle and throttle response.
- Lights, battery and electrics.
- Diagnostics of the fault memory, where possible for this make and model.
What do you get from us?
We go through what we found with you: what is fine, what needs attention soon and what needs doing straight away. So you know what is still coming after the purchase.
What is a pre-purchase inspection not?
A pre-purchase inspection is a snapshot. It is not a warranty, not a valuation and not an official inspection. We look at what we can see, measure and test in the workshop. We don't take the motorcycle apart.
How does it work?

- The motorcycle comes to our workshop in Waalwijk. Agree this with the seller beforehand.
- We go through the checklist and discuss the result with you.
