Privacy statement
Short and clear: which data we use, what for, and what your rights are.

Which data?
- What you fill in yourself in the request form: name, phone, email (optional), town or address (optional), registration number, mileage (optional), your bike and what you want done.
- Whether you want to receive a review request by email (yes or no).
- What you send us via WhatsApp, email or phone.
What for?
Only to handle your request: contacting you, giving you a price and planning, carrying out the work on your bike and invoicing. We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.
Via WhatsApp
The form prepares your details in a WhatsApp message. Only when you press send in WhatsApp does that message reach us. WhatsApp is a service of Meta; WhatsApp's privacy policy also applies.
Copy by email (Formspree)
When you press Open WhatsApp, your request is also sent to us by email. That way nothing gets lost, even if the WhatsApp message isn't sent. For this we use Formspree, an American service that processes the data only on our behalf (processor). Your data may be processed in the United States. Formspree uses the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) of the European Commission for this. Formspree keeps the submission in its archive for up to 30 days. After that, your request is only in our own email.
Review request
Only if you tick the box yourself and fill in your email address will we send you one email afterwards asking you to write a Google review. This is not required and has no effect on your appointment or price. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing or messaging us.
Your email address
Your email address is not required. We only use it if you fill it in: to email your invoice and, if you tick the box, for the review request.
On your own device
The site remembers your chosen bike and what you want done in your browser (localStorage), so you don't have to fill it in again every time. This stays on your own device and you can delete it by clearing your browser data. The site doesn't remember your name, phone or email.
Visitor counter
We count visits with GoatCounter. It works without cookies and without personal data.
How long?
We don't keep your data longer than needed for your request and the work on your bike. We keep invoices for 7 years, because the law requires it.
Your rights
You may view, correct or delete your data. Email us at info@ogmotoworks.nl or message us. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
